Thousands of gay men pardoned for past convictions
Thousands of gay and bisexual men found guilty of decades-old sexual offences in England and Wales have been posthumously pardoned.
The enactment by the government of the so-called Alan Turing law means about 49,000 men will be cleared of crimes of which they would be innocent today.
Wartime code-breaker Mr Turing was pardoned in 2013 for gross indecency.

Half of Greeks are in arrears to the state
Greeks’ taxpaying capacity has been exhausted, leading to 13.9 billion euros in unpaid taxes last year alone, according to data issued on Monday by the Independent Authority for Public Revenue.
This has taken the number of taxpayers with expired debts to the state to 4.14 million, almost half of the total.

Rival Donald Trump petition asking for state visit passes 100,000 signatures
Arival petition set up in opposition to the 1.5 million people who have asked for Donald Trump's state visit to be cancelled has passed 100,000 signatures.
This means it will be considered for a debate in Parliament.
The petition says: "Donald Trump should be invited to make an official State Visit because he is the leader of a free world and U.K. is a country that supports free speech and does not believe that people that appose [sic] our point of view should be gagged."
