Ministry: Citizens’ Service Centers set to be upgraded
Citizens’ Service Centers (KEPs) are due to be upgraded, according to the Administrative Reform Ministry, which says the plans have already been made and all that remains is the legislation.
The digital capacity of the centers is set to be increased, but the ministry promises that all of the Citizens’ Service Centers will still offer non-digital services for those who do not have access to a computer.
According to the ministry, the centers were still the most popular port of call for citizens in their transactions with the state in 2016, despite many public services now being available online.

Thanks Maik. We haven't had a good mayor story for quite a while.

Yes, think it's heaving in peak season but (slow season) I'd rather like to do Elafonisos, Kythira, Antikythira - Kythira is the only Eptanisa I haven't visited and just off Elafonisos is Pavlopetri (http://goinggreek.info/index.php?topic=1134)

I spent a week on Kythira back in May of 1989 - took the ΚΤΕΛ bus down from Kilkis to Athens, which was an awful journey as the bus was a 1950s model and as noisy as a jet, then the hedge-clipper from Athens to Kythira. No tourism to speak of then, and it was good to see the tantalising view of Antikythira on the horizon - this was in the days before ΔΕΗ had connected Antikythira to the electricity grid.
