Coronavirus: Johnson writes to every UK home warning ‘things will get worse before they get better’
Boris Johnson is writing to every household in the UK to urge the public to obey the lockdown and stay home during the coronavirus “national emergency”.
The Prime Minister, who is self-isolating after testing positive for Covid-19, will warn “things will get worse before they get better” as he stresses the need to stay indoors to support the NHS by slowing the spread.
At an anticipated cost of £5.8 million, the letters will land on 30 million doorsteps along with a leaflet spelling out the Government’s advice following much public confusion.

Greek shipowner donates 1.2 million euros to help Greece combat coronavirus
The family of George Prokopiou, billionaire Greek shipowner, at the urgent request of the Greek Health Ministry has donated 1.2 million euros for the purchase of medical equipment, to fight the coronavirus in Greece.
According to Naval Chronicles, 30,000 full-length protective suits, 130,000 waterproof disposable suits, and 2,500,000 gloves, donated by the family, are currently on their way from China to Greece to serve the needs of doctors and nurses.

Greece Suspends Flights to/from the Netherlands and Germany
Civil Aviation Authority directive (NOTAM) suspending flights to and from the Netherlands, Germany and Greece was issued on Saturday and will be effective at 06:00 on Sunday 29 March, as part of measures to contain the spread of the coronavirus in Greece.
The suspension will be active until April 15 (06:00).

Coronavirus lockdown in Greece will last "way beyond" April 6
Greek Minister of Development and Investment, Adonis Georgiadis announced that the lockdown will last “way beyond” April 6, the original end-date envisaged when the lockdown was applied.
In an interview on Open TV, he said that the situation in Greece was much better than in other countries, but added that this fact did not mean all needed measures should not be taken to curb the deadly virus.
Georgiadis also noted that the vast majority of citizens adhere to the lockdown measures.

Wow... how did they even thing about doing this. Of course, with self distancing rules in place now they wouldn't be allowed now as they are all too close together in the plane.

Shop closures extended to April 11
All retail shops that were shut down by the Greek government starting March 14 will remain closed until at least April 11, according to a ministerial decree published Sunday.
