Greece tests drone drug delivery for remote regions
Greece on Tuesday tested a drone to deliver medicines to isolated places in an environmentally friendly way, sending the unmanned vehicle to a 200-person village.
The red drone with four rotor blades took off from the northwestern Greek city of Trikala and flew 3 kilometers (0.5 miles) to Leptokarya. It made two stops, landing outside a pharmacy and in a farmer's field.

Nearly one third of Australia’s koala population has been lost in three years
Australia has lost nearly a third of its koala population over the last three years, according to new figures.
Droughts, heatwaves and bushfires have all contributed to the decline, the Australian Koala Foundation said.

Etna Volcano Erupts Again; Smog Reaches Greece

Cyprus leads Greece with 645 cars per 1000 inhabitants
Cyprus is among EU countries with the highest number of cars per 1000 inhabitants at 645 beating Greece who is cruising at 504 cars, according to the latest data from Eurostat.
Luxembourg leads the race for the last 30 years with the highest motorisation rate among the EU Member States with 681 passenger cars per thousand inhabitants recorded in 2019.
In contrast, the lowest motorisation rates were found in Romania (357 cars), Latvia (381 cars) and Hungary (390 cars).
