I remember back in the 80's Tentura was the staple freebie given out by tavernas. I bought a 70cl bottle covered in dust from a shop in Argostoli back then for 200 drachma! Good stuff for a full tummy and heartburn. :yiamas:

Can't beat a drop of Tentura got a couple of bottles in the kitchen, more of a winters drink thou I think.

Is that the one that tastes like the brown cough mixture I used to have as a kid?? Warm and spicy and great for the tubes! There's something like that we still get as a freebie at the end of a meal in Katelios, but often watered down a bit.
