Τhe Greek health sector has deteriorated significantly since the start of the country’s crisis, according to the results of a new international study.

Greece was ranked in 28th place out of 37 countries on last year’s Euro Health Consumer Index, a comparison of healthcare systems carried out by Swedish company Health Consumer Powerhouse.

The survey also found that Greece had the third-highest per capita consumption of pharmaceuticals.

The hitherto positive course of cruise tourism in Greece appears to be changing.

This year cruise tourism in Greece is expected to come under additional pressure due to the political and economic uncertainty in the country, especially regarding transit routes.

The fact that tax brackets will be set in the second half of this year will probably mean that taxpayers – even those expected to benefit from the new rates – won’t see any changes to the tax automatically deducted from their salaries and pensions during 2015. The fiscal burden will be transferred to 2016, after the processing of income tax declarations and when additional amounts deducted from incomes this year will be returned.

Greece to push for revision of bailout by EU partners

Greece's left-wing government has drawn up a 10-point plan to replace 30% of its massive bailout deal, reports say.

Greece puts the plan to eurozone finance ministers on Wednesday. But a swift deal is unlikely, with Greece being warned to abide by bailout terms.

Greece's anti-austerity government is presenting its first concrete proposals for an alternative debt plan at an emergency meeting of eurozone finance ministers in Brussels.

The government wants to overhaul 30% of its bailout obligations, replacing them with a 10-point plan of reforms.

But EU ministers have warned that Greece must abide by existing terms.

The EU-IMF bailout for the debt-laden country expires on 28 February and Greece does not want it extended.

Instead the new Athens government is asking for a "bridge agreement" that will enable it to stay afloat until it can agree a new four-year reform plan with its EU creditors.

Morris Minor that hasn't been driven in 47 years goes up for sale
The vintage motor is in pristine condition after spending all of its life tucked away in a garage

A classic Morris Minor is going under the hammer with just 190 miles on the clock - after not being driven for a whopping 47 years.

Bought for £656 in July 1968, when the Rolling Stones topped the charts with Jumping Jack Flash and a gallon of petrol cost just 30 pence, the Minor is expected to fetch between £7,000 and £10,000.
