Wednesday, 14 June (2017) indeed seems favourite guestimate for opening of "the bridge". Apparently it has a certain amount of flexibility built in to allow for earthquake movement.

  LOL, I meant flexibility in the structure -
 not down to loose nuts and bolts (...I hope) -
but yes, there's certainly flexibility in the opening date!

Allegedly the same official who (allegedly) said 14/06/17 is now (allegedly) saying it won't open that day.

Seems taxi drivers are complaining about tour offices doing 'illegal' airport/port transfers. I know it goes on, not sure how widespread it is.
