Bad news for Ari! It seems that the lease for the Beach Bar has expired and Memi/Makis will not have it for next season. However, the good news is that they will open a Kafenion in Valeriano. Much work has been done over the last few weeks and I suspect they will be doing food, because a new oven chimney has been installed.

Having now spoken to Memi, I am pleased to say that I was wrong about the tenancy of the Beach Bar. It will continue for another year at least with Memi in charge. They are also opening a Kafenion in Valeriano very soon now and I assume that Makis will be running this during the summer. So Ari is safe with his favourite bar for another season!
