Drinking full-fat milk could protect against strokes, study suggests
While conventional diet advice has for decades dictated that skimmed and semi-skimmed milk is much healthier for us than full-fat milk, a study suggests that the opposite may be true.
Researchers found no significant link between dairy fats and heart disease and stroke, two of the biggest killers associated with a diet high in saturated fat. In fact, certain types of dairy fat might actually help guard against having a severe stroke, researchers reported.

Motorway speed limits could be lifted on weekends
The plans would see 50 mph limits through roadworks lifted on days when contractors were not on site.
The proposals being considered by Highways England are intended to reduce drivers’ frustrations with roadworks.
Last year more than 70,000 drivers were fined on motorways with variable speed limits - a tenfold increase on five years ago.
The vast majority of the fines handed out were to motorists travelling below 70 mph.

Five foreign nationals arrested at Kef airport on Saturday evening for trying to board a 'plane with forged documents, two hoping to fly to Sweden and three to Denmark - although I'm not sure there is a direct flight to Denmark from Kef.

Lawyers assault referee in northern Greece
A referee officiating a soccer match in the northern Greek town of Kozani between teams of the bar associations of Athens and Thessaloniki was physically assaulted after awarding a penalty shortly before the end of the game.
According to reports, the referee was assaulted by two lawyers who are members of the Athens bar, along with supporters who invaded the pitch.
