WTF? World Taekwondo Federation set to rebrand itself to avoid dubious initials
Martial art's world governing body to relaunch as World Taekwondo for marketing purposes

For the uninitiated, WTF also acts as social media shorthand for the incredulous phrase "what the f***", so commonplace now that taekwondo's powers that be felt compelled to distance themselves from it.

Seems another loggerhead has been found dead on one of Kef's beaches, making it the fourth in a few weeks. This latest one found this morning on Agia Barbara beach, Katelios. No obvious injuries.

Sweet success: Unravelling the Jelly Baby's dark past

Do you, for instance, nibble away at its arms and legs until you are left with a helpless torso? Or are you the ruthless type that goes straight for the kill and chops off its head, Henry VIII-style?

Confectionery historians believe the earliest jelly baby was the work of an Austrian confectioner who worked for Fryers of Lancashire.

It is thought that in 1864 he was asked to make a mould for jelly bears, but the resulting sweets looked more like newborn infants and were subsequently given the ghoulish name, Unclaimed Babies.

A big high five to the pilot of the jumbo who didn't just take off and 'flick the switch' and sit back for a few hours as it were. Maybe something of a similar nature on the missing flight? Intriguing.

German man dies after blowing up condom machine

A German man died on Christmas Day after blowing up a condom dispenser with a homemade bomb in a botched robbery, police say.

The 29-year-old and two accomplices attached the bomb to the vending machine in a quiet street before taking cover in their vehicle.

But the victim did not close the door in time and was struck in the head by a steel shard from the explosion.
