Spearmint the seal sent to rehab after becoming 'over-friendly' with beachgoers

A wild seal has been taken to rehab after becoming "over-friendly" with Plymouth beachgoers who fed her delicacies such as doughnuts, sandwiches, and fish.

The young seal, named Spearmint by the RSPCA, became too "habituated" to interacting with humans and reliant on their food handouts.

She has been rehabilitated in order to make her "wary" of humans again, and will be released into the sea from a remote part of Scotland when her treatment is complete.

Google Chrome emergency update fixes zero-day used in attacks

Google has released Chrome 100.0.4896.127 for Windows, Mac, and Linux, to fix a high-severity zero-day vulnerability actively used by threat actors in attacks.

While Google states that this Chrome update will roll out in the next few weeks, users can receive it immediately by going into the Chrome menu > Help > About Google Chrome.

The browser will also automatically check for new updates and install them the next time you close and relaunch Google Chrome.

Regional Airport Operator Fraport Greece Marks Five Years of Action

Fraport Greece, the company managing 14 regional airports in Greece, marked a five-year milestone this week with its 440-million-euro investment program moving full-speed ahead for upgrade works across its network of operations.

The company took over in 2017 and delivered the modernized airports three months ahead of the contractual obligation, Fraport said in its statement.

Greece Could Be Sitting on “600 Billion Cubic Meters” of Natural Gas

Greece could be sitting on natural gas reserves of more than 600 billion cubic meters, a senior executive of its hydrocarbons commission told Reuters on Thursday.

Greece said on Tuesday that by 2023, it will be known whether it has natural gas reserves that are economically viable to extract.

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis... explained that this concerns six areas that are located northwest of the island of Corfu, in the Ionian Sea, in the Gulf of Kyparissia, and in the sea west and southwest of Crete, as well as in the regional unit of Ioannina.
