All roads lead to... Argostoli? Reminds me of when, many years back, we came to an unsignposted Y junction in the road outside a village out in the sticks of Corfu. As we sat there quickly consulting our basic map a guy came out of nowhere with a tray with a couple of small glasses of wine and a bottle of his homemade wine, which we were invited to sample. It was quite good and we accepted the offer to nip into his shop to buy a bottle. After which he asked where we were heading and revealed which road to take.

Five minutes drive along the road and it was apparent it wouldn't have mattered if we took the left fork or the right, they came out in the same place.

And when, back in the UK, we opened the bottle of homemade wine it was nowt like the samples he offered. Hey ho.

Yep, can be purchased at Lidl and left at Pollatos. Donations of money welcome, I'm sure, via PayPal or bank transfer: animalrescuekefalonia.com

HiFi:
At the risk of being totally controversial, it would be good to hear how much of it they purchased this week. :nein:

Controversy on GGi !?! OMG, never been known before!

"it would be good to hear how much of it they purchased this week" - might depend on how much money was donated?

Maik:
Vandalism over the last night or so at the old spring / wash house at Platies. Parts were destroyed, some locals believe, in a search for rumoured long buried treasure in the area. The 'treasure' is a 150 year old structure.
