--- Quote from: Maik on Sunday, 29 January, 2023 @ 02:45:18 ---Five signs of sepsis you need to know and act on immediately
Sepsis is often mistaken for flu in the early stages. Experts reveal the key signs of infection that suggest you need urgent medical attention

Sepsis kills around 50,000 people every year in the UK, and takes more lives than breast, bowel and prostate cancer combined worldwide.
--- End quote ---

5 key sepsis symptoms…Very important to be on the ball with these symptoms as my family have been all too aware of. If unsure always try to get advice asap. We lost our son to sepsis even though he was hospitalised but due to lack of follow up during Covid he sadly lost the fight. Also my husband has been hospitalised with sepsis twice but though not the same person he was before he thank goodness survived. Again in one instance being left during Covid and not treated in time and for the wrong diagnosis by telephone. Better be sure than sorry.!

Maik:
Too right, Colleywobble , get help a.s.a.p: "for every hour treatment is delayed, the chance of survival reduces by over 7%"

Hope husband is doing well.

Colleywobble:
Doing ok thanks Maik but needs constant care and is on Antibiotics now for life. Must be many out there who have not been so Lucky.
