Amazing magpie/Jack Russell vid.  Turns out the magpie was rescued very young and became a pet of the family.

I just followed one of the links and found this and then realised that of course YouTube has loads of similar vids!!

Lagokefalos (lagocephalus) have had a mention here before as they've spread up from the East via the Suez Canal and into the Med waters around Cyprus and Greece. Last Friday one was reportedly caught off Zakynthos.

Quote
Lagocephalus sceleratus, or better known as the pufferfish, or fugu, is widespread in Asia and Indo-Pacific regions. It is a poisonous fish containing tetrodotoxin (TTX) which is a potent neurotoxin.
http://www.hindawi.com/journals/cricc/2012/782507

Consuming the fish (unless prepared by a specially trained chef) will likely cause respiratory disorders, paralysis and, quite possibly, death.

But was it one of ours or one of theirs?   :hmm: Heard on the radio they pick up tons of stuff every year but luckily very little of it goes off.  Terrible that it's still affecting people after nearly 100 years.
