New type of marsupial which mates frantically then dies has been discovered
Scientists have found a black-tailed variety of the mouse-like antechinus, which mates for up to 14 hours at a time

Dr Andrew Baker, from the Queensland University of Technology, described the new antechinus to ABC news.

“[The new species] probably follow the typical pattern of antechinus, which is all males are dead before they turn one year old,” he told ABC News.

“Each mating can take 12 to 14 hours and they do this over and over again,” said biologist Dr Diana Fisher from the University of Queensland.

Inspections carried out on businesses across various sectors of the economy from September through January resulted in nearly 11 million euros' worth of fines being issued, the Labor Ministry announced on Thursday.

Joint teams of the Labor Inspectorate and IKA Social Security Foundation conducted checks on 7,878 businesses, employing a total of 49,126 people, in that five-month period. Of these 49,126 workers, 1,063 were found to be uninsured, leading to fines of 10,839,987 euros, the ministry said.

That's 3rd best in Greece, according to Trip Advisor. Click on the 'More' link then 'Europe' and it's 6th best.

Looks like I've been talking a load of b*ll*x as usual: the quakes have obviously made a big difference to Skala:

In my (limited) experience of Germans on holiday they're even less fond to holiday with bunches of Brits. Don't know if anyone else has found that.

Good. Why are they allowed to travel around Europe unchaperoned. Has history taught nothing?  ;)

Does "em" refer to the sunbeds or the Germans?
