The incident occurred Monday in the northeastern Greek port city of Alexandroupoli.

Serious fire earlier today in Minies left a village house pretty much a burnt out shell despite best efforts of firefighters. Allegedly the property was purchased by an British couple two years or so back but never occupied, possibly due to Covid. Cause of fire as yet undetermined.
