TripAdvisor has removed at least 10,000 reviews from its Chinese website daodao following complaints that they were fake... one reviewer on daodao.com had posted 2,633 reviews since November 2010 and one, who had posted 1,361 reviews since October 2010 claimed to have stayed in 51 hotels in Paris in March 2013 while also visiting hotels in eight other countries in the same month.

They do not appear to be a threat to humans, although some divers have been hit with the upper tail lobe.
All three thresher shark species have been recently listed as vulnerable to extinction by the World Conservation Union (IUCN).

The Thresher Shark is found almost worldwide in tropical to cold temperate seas. In the east Atlantic it is known from Norway and the British Isles to Cape Province, South Africa, including the Mediterranean Sea.
The Thresher Shark is regularly landed by longline and trawl fisheries, particularly in the Mediterranean Sea and northeast Atlantic Ocean.
The Thresher Shark is covered by EC Regulation No. 1185/2003 which prevents the removal of shark fins at sea and the subsequent discard of the body.

The appearance of a massive rat in a Stockholm family's kitchen has made headlines in Sweden, where it is being dubbed "Ratzilla".
Measuring 40cm (nearly 16in) plus tail, the creature terrified the family in Solna district.
Pest controllers finally killed the intruder using an oversized trap.
Even the family cat had refused to enter the kitchen while the giant rat was in residence.

An experienced cattle or pig slaughterer is normally hired to butcher the carcass, it said, adding that tiger bones sold for an average of 14,000 yuan (£1,360) a kilo while the meat fetched 1,000 yuan a kilo.
Police said a butcher – who jumped to his death while trying to escape arrest in a raid – had killed more than 10 animals.

No idea how wide spread it was but a power cut down this end from around 17:30 to 18:15, when it came back on. For a few minutes, then it went off again until 19:15. Then went off again after a few minutes, returning to power about 20:10. The joys!
