A Facebook user posing as Britain's Prince Harry has conned an Austrian floor fitter out of thousands of euros.

The fake prince offered the workman a million-euro contract to renovate the parquet floors at Buckingham Palace.

The tradesman then transferred 27,500 euros (£23,000) to several UK bank accounts, which the fraudster said was necessary to set up a British business.

The Austrian contacted police after not hearing back from the "prince".

A new bill for marine tourism was recently tabled in Greek Parliament by the Greek Ministry of Mercantile Marine. The new bill aims to attract more recreational ships, under Greek and foreign flag, in the Greek seas.

Not clear if it's still planned to up the charges for visiting (and resident) yachts or if that's one of the plans to attract(?) more.

Heard that demolition work has begun today on buildings damaged in the two recent big quakes. Haven't heard of any completion date.

Sounds as though high school teachers will be on strike Wednesday - Friday this week.

Clever cat!!  But isn't there usually a piece of metal that stops the bolt sliding when the knob is up or down?!!

Nice cat show.  Didn't know they had them in Colombia.  Some of the Persian cats are mis-labelled as Himalayans, which as you all now know from last week's post is an American term for bi-coloured Persians (e.g black and white)!
