Where in the world? 74% of Britons can't find Greece on a map and 10% confuse POLAND with AMERICA

We lounge on their beaches and relax in their hotels, but we can't actually pick out where our favourite summer holiday destinations are on a map.

Despite travelling more than ever before, Britons still struggle with their geography when it comes to pinpointing exactly where they have been, according to a new study.

When tested by Hotels.com, a shocking 74 per cent of Britons failed to identify summer hotspot Greece on a map, despite it being one of the most popular summer holiday destinations in Europe.

The Panhellenic Seamen’s Union (PNO) on Friday said that it will prevent ferry boats whose owners owe workers money from running their regular services from Thursday, March 27.

PNO said that it will start at the port of Piraeus and extend its action to other ports until overdue salaries are settled.

Shame there isn't the same level of outpourings for the 5 dogs belonging to Vangelis in Ratzakli, who were poisoned a few weeks ago!

I'd think those of us who are disgusted by the events at Fryent Country Park will be equally disgusted by animal cruelty wherever it is. Seem to recall in the past that Doris, the organisation that runs the ARK, have put up a reward for information relating to animal abuse, maybe they'll be able to this time.
