TUI and the Robinson Club are making plans for new investments in their hotels in Greece and are interested in making the most of new destinations within the country, revealed Thomas Ellerbeck, TUI’s director of corporate and external affairs.

Three minors arrested in Argostoli on Tuesday afternoon for smashing car windows with intent to steal contents, Parents subsequently arrested for lack of supervision.


Plans afoot to re-develop the quayside from the de Bosset bridge to where the old veg market once stood in Argostoli.

I think improving the lagoon side area is a good idea.  I'm always surprised by the lack of a decent bar or two.  There is the one cafe but that looks on to the road apart from one table at the side with a bit of a view of the prom and the water.  Wouldn't want much: the open space is what is so attractive.
