Eight new cases of coronavirus recorded on Kef yesterday by EODY.
Kef fire risk 26/10/21: Low (https://www.civilprotection.gr/el/imerisios-hartis-provlepsis-kindynoy-pyrkagias-26102021)
Today's bank rate:
1 GBP = € 1.1506
1 USD = € 0.8368
Based on Alpha Bank exchange rates, these are widely used by exchange agencies in Greece.
Other banks likely to offer a different rate which may be marginally higher or lower.
Banks and foreign exchange offices normally charge standard 2% commission.
You may get a better rate changing your holiday money in advance at e.g the Post Office (https://www.postoffice.co.uk/travel-money).
NB: some f-ex agencies advertise "No Commission".
Invariably, they deduct commission before they (don't) advertise the rate.
Foreign exchange offices are businesses, not charities.

Is it just me?
Why on earth would anyone want to publicise such a story, and pictures too?!

Open wide! Fearless Yorkshire dentist removes sore tooth from polar bear’s mouth
Open wide now! A fearless dentist has removed the broken tooth from the mouth of a 1,322lb polar bear.
Dr Peter Kertesz performed the hour-long operation on three-year-old Sisu at Yorkshire Wildlife Park in Doncaster.
The work – which also included adding a new specially made gnasher – was performed after the monster carnivore was found to be at risk of infection because of the sore tooth.
Needless to say the animal was anesthetised throughout the procedure.
