Just been down to AB Super market and the Kotsovolos store next to it is in the process of changing into a Welcome Store

Looking at its website it  looks like it does near enough the same as Kotsovolus.

Looked for a Wikipedia entry but no joy. Apparently there are Welcome Stores in parts of UK but they seem to be grocery stores. Looks like Dixons have finally flogged Kotsovolos off after three years trying, old post from GGi:
