KefAir: new airline
« on: Friday, 01 April, 2022 @ 03:52:03 »
To facilitate tourism volume returning to and exceeding pre-Covid levels the three Kefalonia municipalities and the municipality of Ithaka, with financial support from the Ionian Islands Regional Council, have formed a new jointly owned not-for-profit airline.

From 01 May, KefAir will fly its recently leased Airbus A380-800 to Kefalonia every day this summer from departure airports around Europe. To reduce operating costs it will fly from out-of-city airports. In the UK it's Wednesday and Saturday from London Land's End Airport.

Due to good access to Argostoli and the key resorts of Skala, Lassi, Lixouri and Fiskardo, as well as being a short ferry ride across to Ithaka, the specially adapted seaplane will land in Sami bay and dock at Sami port.

The new airline is keen to compete with budget airlines such as easyJet and Ryanair. To enable tourists to enjoy sampling even more delights while on the island, return prices start at €4.99 early and late season, maxing out at €99.99 p.p. return in July and August. It's anticipated seats will sell quickly and when tickets have sold out, they've sold out.

More information here including Special Introductory Offer: Book a return trip today* for any date between 01 May - 31 October 2022 for only €0.99* p.p at KefAir

If demand for tickets crashes KefAir website, book via departure airport website: KefAir first 500 seats @ €0.99*

*Must be booked by 12:00 midday today.
