Today’s bank rates:
1 €UR = £0.9028 GBP
1 €UR = $1.1140 USD
£1 GBP = 1.1077 €UR
$1 USD = 0.8977 €UR

Based on Alpha Bank exchange rates, these are widely used by exchange agencies in Greece.
Other banks likely to offer a different rate which may be marginally higher or lower.
Banks and foreign exchange offices normally charge standard 2% commission.
You may get a better rate changing your holiday money in advance at e.g the
Post Office.
NB: some f-ex agencies advertise "No Commission".
Invariably, they deduct commission before they (don't) advertise the rate.
Foreign exchange offices are businesses, not charities.

Boris is back in the news: Late in 2020, Johnson was in financial trouble as he faced divorce payments, childcare costs and bills for the refurbishment of his Downing Street flat. Richard Sharp helped to arrange a guarantee on a loan of up to £800,000 for Johnson. Weeks later BoJo recommended him for the position as Chairman of the BBC, according to The Times.

And, allegedly, BoJo was informed about Nadhim Zahawi’s tax affairs before BoJo appointed Zahawi as the Chancellor of the Exchequer, according to ITV News.

Food firms raising prices unnecessarily, Tesco's John Allan says

Some food firms may be using inflation as an excuse to hike prices further than necessary, the chairman of Tesco has said.

Asked by the BBC's Laura Kuenssberg if food producers were taking advantage of the poorest in society, John Allan said it was "entirely possible".

He said Tesco was trying "very hard" to challenge price hikes it thinks are illegitimate.

There's a definite resemblance... Shaun the sheep and Shaun the sea slug.

A little more appealing than your common or garden slug, there are more than 100 species of these hermaphrodites in UK seas.

Here's 51 attractive nudibranchs.

Lockdown 'sex party' at Newcastle Cathedral under investigation by the Vatican

A lockdown "sex party" at a Cathedral is being investigated by the Vatican as part of an inquiry regarding a former bishop, it has been reported.

Bishop Robert Byrne resigned as the Bishop of Hexham and Newcastle in December. However, in a rare intervention, the Roman Catholic Church is reportedly examining the circumstances of his resignation amid allegations that a sex party was held during a coronavirus lockdown at St Mary’s Cathedral, Newcastle.

There is no suggestion that Bishop Byrne was either at the alleged party in a priest’s living quarters next to the cathedral, or was aware of it.
