Tour operator Thomson is to launch an additional route from Exeter to the popular Greek island of Rhodes in summer 2015.

Doesn't help us much but good to see Greece is popular.

Greek spirits producer Roots Spirits is now available in the UK after the group secured a distribution deal with Spirit Cartel.

Roots’ four Greek spirits, Mastiha, Herb Spirit, Tentura and Rakomelo, are produced at Greece’s oldest distillery using 160-year-old traditional recipes in “a fusion of old and modern tastes”.

I remember back in the 80's Tentura was the staple freebie given out by tavernas. I bought a 70cl bottle covered in dust from a shop in Argostoli back then for 200 drachma!  Good stuff for a full tummy and heartburn.  :yiamas:

Is that the one that tastes like the brown cough mixture I used to have as a kid??  Warm and spicy and great for the tubes!  There's something like that we still get as a freebie at the end of a meal in Katelios, but often watered down a bit.
