Citing international studies, Der Spiegel article states that Greek shipowners have paid no tax on at least €140bn since 2002
It also says that much of the €60bn in Greek money kept at Swiss banks is from the shipping sector.
Based on data provided by Greek trade unions, Der Spiegel writes that in 2012 shipowners paid only €15m in tax as individuals while sailors paid €55m in total.
