Unconfirmed but heard the government is looking at changes to the road tax w.e.f. 01/01/15, possibilities include allowing vehicles to be taxed for certain months only (decided by the owner, handy for part-time residents); based upon car value; based upon mileage; based on emissions (similar to present but with some changes).

Greek police clash with retail employees protesting against longer shopping hours

Hundreds of protesters battled with riot police in one of the Greek capital's main shopping districts. No injuries or damage have been reported.

Left-wing activists and the Greek Orthodox Church oppose the extension of Sunday shopping for different reasons.
