Black hatchback left the Argostoli - Lixouri road last night and hit the cliff face, no apparent injuries, except to car.

Unconfirmed: explosion in the kantina at Platys Yialos beach, Lassi, last night. Allegedly no accident, appears someone placed gas canisters around the building. Additionally, tables and chairs belonging to the kantina said to have been thrown into the sea. Police investigating.

Motorway service stations hiring staff to police surging levels of EV ‘charge rage’
Britain’s biggest motorway service station provider has brought in marshals to police “charge rage” among electric vehicle drivers battling for access to plug-in points.
Electric car drivers were forced to queue for up to six hours at some service stations across the UK last Christmas.
Unlike a petrol or diesel engine that takes just minutes to fill, a typical electric car will take at least half an hour to recharge. It means many more charging stations are needed to service EVs.

Enfield: First baby beaver born in London in 400 years
Enfield council began London's beaver reintroduction programme in 2022 to bring beavers back to the capital after 400 years.
