Banks and foreign exchange offices normally charge standard 2% commission.
You may get a better rate changing your holiday money in advance at e.g the Post Office.
NB: some f-ex agencies advertise "No Commission".
Invariably, they deduct commission before they (don't) advertise the rate.

A 56 y-o local in need of urgent medical attention was yesterday transferred by Ithaki coast guard from Vathy to Astakos.

Alexis Tsipras, ex- Prime Minister and leader of ΣΥΡΙΖΑ, plans to be in Argostoli around 10:30 tomorrow and in Lixouri around 12:30. Apparently his visit is partly business and partly social, his wife's mother comes from Kef.

British Band James Announces Live Shows in Greece in July

The British band James announced two live shows in Greece this July, beginning with on Monday, July 10 at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus in Athens where the band will be accompanied by the Orca22 orchestra and the Manchester Inspirational Voices gospel choir, composed and conducted by Joe Duddell.

On Wednesday, July 12, James will perform at the Moni Lazariston in Thessaloniki in a full band show, not orchestral.
