Body of male found on Skala beach yesterday still not identified, believed to be around sixty years old and 5'7"-5'8" tall, wearing swim trunks, flip-flops and a watch.

Air ambulance busy on Kef yesterday, a woman going into premature labour and a male with multiple fractures were airlifted from Argostoli hospital to Rio. Due to staff shortages at Argostoli hospital.

Good! Christmas is over commercialised and has been for years, it has always been a case of get as much cash from the punters as you can, and it starts earlier every year, we had to take the tree down last August because the dog kept knocking it over.

Ministry of Culture and Sports has awarded Kefalonia and Ithaka a grant of almost 8,000,000 euros to repair and protect various ancient monuments and museums, some of which grant will be spent on the Mycenaean tomb at Tzannata.
