The ΒΙΚΕΝΤΙΟΣ ΔΑΜΟΔΟΣ (Vikentios Damodos) ferry was confined to port in Lixouri last night after Captain reported discovery of a cooling water leakage between the cap and the right-hand main body. AFAIK it's been repaired and back in service between Lixouri-Argostoli.

Civil aviation agency split in two

Two years after legislation designed to restructure Greece’s civil aviation system was approved in Parliament, presidential decrees have been issued splitting the Civil Aviation Authority (YPA) into two separate bodies – an independent agency (APA) that will oversee all of the country’s 44 airports, both private and state-run, and a civil aviation service that will only manage the state-owned ones.

WTF!?! Another sensational headline from the Daily Excess. Complete b*ll*x.

"The passengers spent the night on deck, and left the boat using a fire brigade ladder, the coastguard said." That's according to Protothema. (http://en.protothema.gr/greek-ferryboat-evacuated-after-fire-photos-videos/)
