More than 160 chicks found dumped at roadside

More than 100 living chicks and 60 dead ones have been dumped in two separate batches at the side of two Cambridgeshire roads, the RSPCA has said.

The RSPCA said the two incidents were probably connected with the animals possibly dumped by someone who had been hoping to sell them as Easter pets.

Inspector Justin Stubbs, who collected the second find, said: “Whoever dumped these birds had effectively left them to die.

“They had no access to nearby food or water or shelter from predators and, had they not been found, then sadly the rest would have perished as well.”

Millions using 123456 as password, security study finds

Millions of people are using easy-to-guess passwords on sensitive accounts, suggests a study.

The analysis by the UK's National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) found 123456 was the most widely-used password on breached accounts.

The study helped to uncover the gaps in cyber-knowledge that could leave people in danger of being exploited.

The NCSC said people should string three random but memorable words together to use as a strong password.
