Homeless Australian man reunited with lost rat pet by police

A homeless man in Sydney, Australia, has been reunited with his pet rat which disappeared earlier this month.

Chris, 59, is a well known figure in downtown Sydney where the rat, called Lucy, is usually curled up on a box in front of him.

But one day his little companion disappeared as he stepped away to take a toilet break.

After a social media appeal, New South Wales police tracked down the missing pet and reunited the pair on Thursday.

Greek Railway Operator Aims to Reinstate Obsolete Tracks and Trains for Tourism

Some of the suggestions on the table include increasing the frequency – every Sunday all year round – of services along the historic Ano Lehonia-Milies line run by Pelion’s legendary steam train, the “Moutzouris”; reinstating the train service running through the Valley of Tempi; launching a daily Orient Express-style theme train route along the Volos-Kalambaka line; and re-introducing a steam engine train along the Volos-Paleofarsalou route.

In the meantime, in relevant news, EU funds have been approved for the implementation of 14 modern railway projects across Greece, including upgrade works along the Athens-Patra line.

Brilliant little railway Ano Lehonia-Milies!!So well preserved and the journey is spectacular.So nice to hear that some of these heritage lines are to be reinstated.They could be very popular as new tourist attractions as they are in Uk.
