What seems like a regular trip getting groceries at the Edeka Supermarket in Germany takes a sudden holiday twist when the lights dim leaving the customers wonder what is happening. With 13 hidden cameras set up, these cashiers give them a fun holiday surprise that leaves them all cheering for more. Now that’s a fun trip to the grocery store!
In the stunt... checkout clerks are seen scanning items so their registers beep and chirp just the right notes to play "Jingle Bells"—complete with a beatboxing percussion soloist. The video, titled "Kassensymphonie" ("Checkout Symphony"), was done by Jung von Matt and has already amassed over 11 million views on YouTube. It's not the only viral hit for this client/agency combo, who also did the incredibly weird "Supergeil" video earlier this year.
That's a fake Crimbo vid but a very forgiveable and funny one! Tony
