Latest I've heard, access to Ainos National Park is, w.e.f., prohibited to the public between sunset and sunrise whenever the fire risk for Kef is 'Very High' (orange on map) or 'Alarm Status' (red on map), according to http://civilprotection.gr. Travel costs to rise in 2018, says leading travel management company

The cost of both flights and hotel accommodation is projected to rise by an average of 3.6%, according to a new 2018 global travel forecast by a leading travel management company.

The price of airline tickets is expected to increase globally by 3.5% because of a rise in oil prices and inflation. European flights are expected to rise even more – by 8.5% in eastern Europe and 5.5% in western Europe.

Hotels in Europe are also likely to introduce price hikes above the global average, with a 6.6% rise in eastern Europe and 6.3% in western Europe.

Terror as ceiling collapses at Al-Miraj banqueting suite in Small Heath with 200 people inside

Hundreds of people, including children, had a miracle escape when a ceiling collapsed at a banqueting suite in Small Heath .

Around 200 people were said to have been inside inside the Al-Miraj Banqueting Suite, off Wordsworth Road, when a section of a first floor ceiling came crashing down, at around 8pm.

4.3 earthquake hits south of Crete

A 4.3 magnitude earthquake hit of the coast of Crete at 1.36pm, according to the Geodynamic Institute. The tremor was 44km south of the city Ierapetra and at a depth of 10km.

Now Audi recalls thousands of its cars over harmful emission levels

Thousands of Audi luxury cars sold in Britain are to be recalled amid the continuing scandal over ‘fake’ emission results.

The move is part of an attempt by Audi to avoid its cars being caught up in proposed bans of diesel cars from German cities, following the scandal over Volkswagen falsifying its emission results.
