Is austerity forcing British children into adoption?

The UK has the highest adoption rate in Europe. It’s one of just three EU countries to allow forced adoptions (children being taken from parents who don’t want to give them away).

In many cases the system works well. Often, children flourish in new families who love them and care for them, but social workers are becoming increasingly concerned that adoption is being seen as the best solution to a problem, rather than a last resort.

Apparently ΔΕΥΑΚ are looking forward to receiving responsibility for the Skala water treatment plant system in the near future, once homes and businesses are connected up to it.

Haven't had any confirmation but heard Kefalonian Lines have purchased the Μυρτιδιώτισσα (Myrtidiotissa) which is being given an upgrade in the Perama shipyards before being re-named Αλεξάνδρα Λ (Alexandra L) and being put in to service on the Poros-Kyllini line. Or *possibly* on the Corfu-Zakynthos route... if it happens.

Firefox 58 released a little earlier today. Allegedly a little quicker than previous versions. Should auto-update for most users, or update manually.

Still keeping clear of it to preserve my add-ons. Get a bit fed up with the reminders for v. 57.
