More than 65,000 people sign petition calling for yobs who threw pitbull downstairs to be jailed WARNING DISTRESSING FOOTAGE More than 65,000 people have signed a petition calling on the sick yobs who were filmed torturing a bulldog to be jailed.Brothers Andrew and Daniel Frankish avoided prison despite shocking video footage showing them hurling family pet Baby down stairs and headbutting and stamping on her.Andrew, 22, and Daniel, 19, are clearly seen enjoying themselves, laughing as they inflict the horrendous injuries on the defenceless canine.Baby was put down three months after the footage was filmed in October 2013.After pleading guilty to causing unnecessary suffering to an animal, the siblings, from Redcar, Yorkshire, were sentenced to 21 weeks in prison, suspended for two years, given a six months tagged curfew and ordered to pay £300 costs. They were also banned from keeping animals for life. But animal-lovers believe the sentence is unduly lenient, and have now launched a petition calling on Prime Minister David Cameron to intervene.
