Just been trying to read about that on InKefalonia - sounds horrendous to me, not a fan of that type of place being built on Kef but at least it's over the other side of the Island to where we normally stay.

Police officer fired for not shooting black suspect wins $175,000

Mader was the first responding officer to a 2016 call involving RJ Williams, a 23-year-old black man believed to be suicidal. Mader, who is white, made the determination that Williams did not pose an immediate threat to him or fellow officers, even though he was holding a gun. Mader began trying to talk Williams down.

But amid Mader’s attempts to convince Williams to drop the weapon, two veteran officers arrived on the scene and, almost immediately, shot and killed Williams.

Turkish actions off Imia islets raise the stakes

Tension has escalated dangerously in the Aegean as Turkish gunboats Tuesday surrounded the Imia islets after an incident in the vicinity on Monday midnight when a Greek coast guard boat was rammed by a Turkish patrol boat. The two countries came to the brink of war over the islets in 1996.

Chrome's New Ad Blocker Settings [Images]

Starting tomorrow, February 15, Google will begin to block certain types of online ads using a new built-in ad blocking technology it announced last June.

Below are the basic things a user needs to know about Chrome's new ad blocker, along with a few screenshots showing what controls Google will make available to users.

... if you're using ad blockers because of security reasons —to block cryptojacking scripts and ads part of malvertising campaigns— then stay with your current ad blocker. This was not what Google's ad blocker was designed to do.
