Annual festival of Agios Yiannis in Tzannata on evening of Monday, 23 June. Usual festivities: souvlaki stall, live music, Greeks dancing. And fire leaping.

Hope you've got a thick pair of wellies, Maik!
Enjoy!
Tony
PS Just looked at the poster - does it mean you have to go to church first??!!!

Included a bit of pole dancing tonight - a coach load of Poles turned up from somewhere. Seemed to thoroughly enjoy the night. Almost thirty minutes past midnight and the band have just switched from Greek music to Kefalonian music... could be
a late night
an early morning.

Sounds like a great night! Not sure I know the difference between Greek and specifically Kefalonian music. Can you enlighten us Maik?

Nah, I'm not very musical, you'd need to listen to them. Bouzouki doesn't feature so much in local stuff, more guitar and mandolin. Like ouzo isn't really a Kefalonian drink, mostly stocked for the tourists.
