Kitten Lola trapped in chimney in Liverpool for four days

A kitten who wedged herself halfway up a chimney for four days was rescued in a four-hour operation by the RSPCA and fire crews.

Doctor found guilty of issuing fake blindness certificates

A doctor working at a public hospital on a Greek island has been relieved from her duties after a disciplinary board found her guilty of issuing dozens of fake blindness certificates... that allowed the recipients to collect over 150,000 euros from the state in disability benefits. She is said to have issued these certificates between 1989 and 2011.

Another sea mine washed up on Kef, this one just outside Poros along the Skala coastal road around 13:00 local time today.

Good news: no sign of Mr Cage.
