I've seen reports like this before.  Like them this says that Greeks have longer official working hours.  That isn't necessarily the same as working hard:blink:

Very true! Although that's the nature of many businesses out here: you have to be open long hours to serve any customers that do come in... and demand to know what time the ferry leaves Piraeus for Crete next May, why there isn't a bus every 15 minutes to Old Skala, where exactly in Greece the cobbles on the high street came from (LOL), when the woman who owns the shop around the corner will be back... having little to do (except answer stupid questions) is hard work.
