The last bat: the mystery of Britain’s most solitary animal

We cannot speak of its loneliness, but it must be Britain’s most solitary animal. For the last 16 years, every winter, a male greater mouse-eared bat has taken up residence 300 metres inside a disused and exceedingly damp railway tunnel in West Sussex. The greater mouse-eared bat has been all but extinct in this country for decades. This is the only remaining one we know of.

Ithaki coast guard in action again, details are unclear but sounds as though they rescued a 52 y-o foreign national in need of medical attention on board a boat outside Vathi.

Read the report and I'm absolutely outraged!!

Apparently sponsored by YouGov Institute, but all the way through the report the word Traveller has lost an "L"

Hopefully Brexit will regain not just Sovereignty, but traditional English language spellchecking too

I think "traveler" is American so we can expect more of that kind of thing.  :(

A lot of Greek websites and businesses I've come across use American English, dunno why, maybe it's just the default in their knock off copy of MS Office.
