The spreadsheet formula for calculating Greek Easter is based on the Oudin algorithm I found on the website of Claus Tondering.
The spreadsheet formula for calculating Western Easter is a slightly modified version of one I found on contextures.com.
As it says, it should be accurate for dates from 1900 - 2203.

Click on link below for a downloadable spreadsheet which calculates key dates each year, including Paska.
Current year selected by default, or enter a year in cell A1: GGi Greek calendar calculator

The Old Oak

The Old Oak is a 2023 drama film directed by Ken Loach and written by Paul Laverty. It is a co-production between the United Kingdom, France and Belgium.

After its world premiere at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, where it competed for the Palme d'Or, the film was released in the United Kingdom on 29 September 2023, by StudioCanal. The film was nominated for Outstanding British Film at the 77th British Academy Film Awards.

Pub landlord TJ Ballantyne, living in a previously thriving mining community in County Durham, struggles to hold onto his pub and keep it as the one remaining public space where people can meet in the town. Meanwhile, tensions rise when Syrian refugees are placed there, but Ballantyne strikes up a friendship with one of the refugees, Yara.

ONE LIFE tells the true story of Sir Nicholas ‘Nicky’ Winton, a young London broker who, in the months leading up to World War II, rescued 669 predominantly Jewish children from the Nazis. Nicky visited Prague in December 1938 and found families who had fled the rise of the Nazis in Germany and Austria, living in desperate conditions with little or no shelter and food, and under threat of Nazi invasion. He immediately realised it was a race against time. How many children could he and the team rescue before the borders closed?

Fifty years later, it’s 1988 and Nicky lives haunted by the fate of the children he wasn’t able to bring to safety in England; always blaming himself for not doing more. It’s not until a live BBC television show, ‘That’s Life’, surprises him by introducing him to some surviving children – now adults – that he finally begins to come to terms with the guilt and grief he had carried for five decades.

Argostoli karnavali: procession commences around 11:30 in Kampanas plateia and culminates with the coronation of the carnival queen @12:00 in Vallianou plateia. Followed by carnival dances to discs spun by DJ Achilleas Thomatos and kids activities.

Will all be held in O Kefalos theatre if weather prevents outdoor activities (which looks likely).

Looks as though most unions will be calling their members out on strike on 28 February, which is one year on from the tragic Tempe train disaster. No flights this day, probably no ferries to/from mainland either. Argostoli central plateia likely to be crowded.
