SOMETIMES, YOU JUST want a half pint. And that’s nothing to be ashamed of (though some people might tell you it is).

Wexford bar and brewery Simon Lambert & Sons have found an innovative way of giving you your half pint, while sparing you your blushes.

First time I looked at the pic (in the link) I thought the pub had a friendly ghost and was serving 'armless spirits. Looked to me like two fingers about to be wrapped around the top of the glass.

Think they're the backs of bar stools  :iroll:

Companies can monitor workers' private online chats, European court rules

Employees in Europe might want to think carefully about using the internet to send private messages during office hours after Europe’s top rights court ruled on Tuesday that companies could monitor workers’ online communications.

Pressure on 'safe' destinations mounts after Turkey explosion

A predicted shift in capacity to ‘safe’ destinations following fresh terrorist attacks could destabilise the market, industry experts have warned.

A suicide bomb attack on Tuesday in a tourist area of Istanbul killed 10 people – at least nine of whom were German tourists.

The incident came four days after suspected Islamist terrorists stabbed three tourists at the Bella Vista Hurghada hotel in Egypt's Red Sea area.

About 2.5 million Brits travel to Turkey every year on holiday.

Operators fear the incidents could lead to too much demand for Spain and Greece – destinations already experiencing higher sales following previous incidents.

Hope this doesn't lead to an increase in prices in Greece

Well, anyone planning to book a hol in Greece this year might be better off booking it sooner, rather than later. Suspect prices in resort might rise if visitor numbers increase, hard to say.

God Save The Queen: MPs to debate replacing England’s sporting anthem
• Labour MP Toby Perkins says England should have its own anthem
• Jerusalem and Land of Hope and Glory among the alternative options

:hmm: Land of Hope and Glory... well, the first bit suits the English football team

Maybe just a slight change to the words: God Save The Team

Anyone got any suggestions as to what song England's finest footie players can do their goldfish impersonations to?

Greece exits deflation after 33 months, uptick seen sustainable

Greece emerged from 33 months of deflation in December, finally seeing some price rises after a bruising period of economic decline and political upheaval.

Maybe I've been living on a different planet but I've noticed several price rises over the past 33 months.

I'd hope MPs had more important issues to debate, especially as it's opposition led
I'd also hope the MP in question can be drowned at Traitor's Gate forthwith

That aside, I suggest;
If we exit, I Vow To Thee My Country
If we stay in, Das Deutschlandlied

If we stay in how about "Always look on the bright side of life"?!  Actually it would do if we exit!  At least everybody would know the words and the very few who didn't could whistle!  Everybody happy.  Solved!!

Mate of mine was thinkin of comin over for a jolly in May / June to keep me sober but Easy now want £435. Glad I got mine early doors. (£320). The way things are goin it might still increase. Peeps will start to come back from Turkey and further east as the chaos increases. Very sad.
