Study Finds 30% of Greeks Have Incomes Under 10,000 EurosWith Greece’s economic and austerity crisis nearing nine years, a survey has found that about 30 percent of Greek households have incomes under 10,000 euros ($33,894) and trying to survive despite repeated pay cuts, tax hikes and slashed pensions.The study was conducted by the research arm of the Hellenic Confederation of Professionals, Craftsmen & Merchants (GSEVEE) which found it wasn’t enough to cover their monthly expenses.
