'Breakthrough' penny-sized nanochip pad is able to regrow organs and heal injuries

Scientists have hailed a “breakthrough” technology capable of regrowing damaged organs and healing serious wounds with the single touch of a penny-sized pad.

The new device uses nanochips to reprogramme skin cells which then generate any type of cell necessary for medical treatment.

The non-invasive procedure takes less than a second and in laboratory trials was found to restore the function of badly damaged blood vessels within days.

We use fipronil as a spot-on flea treatment/prevention for our animals.  Can we rub the eggs all over our cats and dogs?

The new announcements for the granting of the right to explore and exploit hydrocarbons are being promoted following the applications submitted by the Total-ExxonMobil-EL.PE. (Hellenic Petroleum) Consortium, interested in the sea areas Southwest and West of Crete, and Energean Oil & Gas, for the sea area in Western Greece in the Ionian Sea, Greece’s Energy Ministry said in a press release.

Heard there was a problem with the Thomas Cook flight to Newcastle on Sunday eve, quite a considerable delay. Not sure why that was but seems everyone got sorted with accommodation for the duration.

Putney Bridge: CCTV of jogger 'pushing' woman in front of bus

A woman has escaped serious injury after appearing to be pushed by a jogger into the path of a bus.

CCTV of the incident shows a man running along Putney Bridge in west London and appearing to shove the 33-year-old into the road.

The oncoming bus is forced to swerve into the adjacent lane to avoid hitting her.

Sgt Mat Knowles said: "It was only due to the superb quick reactions of the bus driver that she was not hit by the vehicle."

Firefox 55 was released late yesterday (UK time), some users may already have had it auto-updated, if not it should auto-update soon. Find what version of Firefox you are using.

Latest version available via: https://www.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/new/

What's new?

Yes, a 20 hour delay overnight due initially to an engine fault, then they said no landing slots till the following afternoon.

Fatal road accident on the road to Petani yesterday afternoon. Details sketchy but seems a car driven by a Greek-Canadian visitor left the road and overturned.
