Today’s bank rates:
1 €UR = $ 0.8823 GBP   £1 GBP = 1.1334 €UR
1 €UR = $ 1.1246 USD   $1 USD = 0.8975 €UR
1 €UR = $ 1.7086 AUD   $1 AUD = 0.5852 €UR

Based on National Bank of Greece exchange rates.
Other banks likely to offer rates which may be marginally higher or lower.
Banks and foreign exchange offices normally charge standard 2% commission.
You may get a better rate changing your holiday money in advance at e.g. the
Post Office.
NB: some f-ex agencies advertise "No Commission".
Invariably, they deduct commission before they (don't) advertise the rate.
Foreign exchange offices are businesses, not charities.

UK government overturns plans to phase out badger cull
‘Sunak now wants all the badgers dead,’ says ecological consultant Tom Langton

The government has U-turned on its plans to phase out the badger cull, with proposals to exterminate the vast majority of some local populations across much of south-west and central England.

Ministers plan to introduce controversial targeted culling, also known as “epidemiological culling” or “epi-culling”, whereby populations of badgers can be reduced to almost zero in some areas where cattle are deemed to be at high risk of contracting bovine TB (bTB).

Greece’s Hoteliers to Take Music Quota Decision to Court if Needed

Hoteliers across Greece warned this week that they would be taking a recent Culture Ministry bill setting a minimum 45 percent Greek songs and music quota to court if the bill is not withdrawn.

In a joint statement, 55 hotelier associations representing more than 7,000 hotels in Greece under the umbrella of the Hellenic Hoteliers Federation (POX) are calling on the ministry to withdraw the controversial bill which was open for public consultation until Thursday.

It should be noted that speaking to local media earlier this week, Culture Minister Lina Mendoni has clarified that the quota would apply only to enterprises that choose to implement the decision. Referring to hotel businesses, she said these will be required to play Greek language music or instrumental renditions in lounge areas and elevators and not in bars, cafes, restaurants, clubs, pool areas, or entertainment venues.
