Over £300bn worth of oil 'discovered' in West Sussex
UKOG says the find near Gatwick Airport, sometimes dubbed "Britain's Dallas", had the potential to be a "world class potential resource"

A number of industry experts have expressed scepticism about the size of the discovery.

Not quite sure why that's news but possibly one of the more interesting events so far in this election... maybe not including news of Ukip's porn star, Johnny Rockard

Like the hair style, not sure the earrings suit him:

Images of Robert Mugabe spectacularly... wearing a wig and a pair of earrings, thanks to a well-positioned woman standing just behind him.

For anyone down this end of Kef... spoke with some of the local [Poros] shopkeepers, they reckon they'll be open "all day" tomorrow and Saturday, most closed Sunday and Monday but Lefteris & Angelos (a.k.a. 'fat boys' ) s/m plan to open again on Monday.

That's Good news as last year rumour had it that he was gonna call it a day. It keeps the square just about competitive (and occupied) regarding the 'big two'. Shame about the corner position it's starting to look a bit windswept with the Kefalos closed up. Who knows, the next business on the corner may well be a vodka bar. I'll have a large one Boris !

No, all the scotch want to do is play politics at Westminster so they can get another referendum.  The Yanks would be delighted as they won't have to invade another middle eastern country.  We will give the oil to them gratis because of our "special relationship": you know, the sort of special relationship you had with the big fat kid at school that used to pinch your dinner money.

No all the Scots/ Scottish want to do is exercise their democratic right to choose who they want to represent them at Westminster. ie just like the rest of the UK. To the best of my knowledge no political party in Scotland has included their desire to hold another referendum in their 2015 UK election manifesto.

After being soundly beaten in the referendum no scotch party is likely to mention wanting another one.  It will be another matter if one of them hold the balance after the election.  If the scotch MPs were only allowed to vote on matters affecting Scotland there could be as many of them in parliament as the scotch want.

We need an English parliament whose first job would be to rebuild Offa's Dyke and Hadrian's  Wall..  The second would be to give Northern Ireland back to Eire and they could fight it out between themselves.

I think I did agree with Kefman a couple of months ago that the SNP was more interested in throwing as many spanners in the Parliamentary works as they could with a view to the English getting totally p*ssed off and probably offering the Scots bucket loads of dosh to go away.  Nicola Sturgeon unlike Alex Salmond, however, seems more interested in shifting the political agenda of a future coalition than in insisting on independence.

The Daily Mail are now doing the SNP's job for them.  Slagging the party and the Scots off so much that that SNP support is likely to increase even more.  They also argue that the SNP would have no right to form an anti-Tory coalition government if it came to it, like SNP MPs don't count.  One columnist even said they should bloody well be independent and get out of our hair. Presumably Nicola Sturgeon was delighted.
