British teenager, 19, dies after quadbike accident in Zante on first lads’ holiday

A BRITISH teenager has been killed on the Greek island of Zante in a quadbike crash on his first ever lads' holiday.

Jack Howe, of Kings Hill, Kent, and his friends were out on hired quadbikes when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed and died from his injuries.

The 19-year-old's devastated family have now raised almost £10,000 in his memory and to help other bereaved families repatriate lost loved ones.

At the time of writing, £9,634 of the £10k target has already been raised in Jack's name, leading the "overwhelmed" family to thank well-wishers for their donations and increase the target to £50k.

Sister Hannah Howe wrote on Facebook that the "end goal of this is to become a registered charity and make a difference to less fortunate families who can’t bring their loved ones home and raise awareness of how dangerous quad bikes can be".

Extra strong Marmite makes return to shop shelves

An extra-strong version of Marmite is returning to shop shelves for good following a popular limited release almost 10 years ago.

Marmite Extra Old, or XO, is the result of the secret blend maturing for 28 days – four times longer than the standard product.

A limited release in 2010 promptly sold out, with jars later appearing on online auction sites.
