The Civil Aviation Authority is auctioning the right to operate 20 flights in remote areas

Olympic Air, Sky Express and Astra are all competing for the right to operate flights to 20 remote areas in Greece from October 2016 to the end of September 2020. The financial offers of the three airlines will be publicized in the next few days.

The 20 flights, along with the maximum annual subsidy, are the following:......

Storms have caused flooding in Argostoli and closed the Argostoli-Poros road between Simotata-Vlakhata for several hours. Also heard Lourdas beach is a bit of a muddy mess.

Argostoli police have arrested three Albanian nationals, aged 31, 29 and 23 respectively, and two local Greeks aged 46 and 30, for their part in an organized drugs trafficking ring dealing in raw cocaine and cannabis. Seventeen customers also arrested.

Sailing boat, the ΚΟΣ 45.6, ran aground off Ithaka yesterday and had to be towed into Vathi. No injuries reported to any of the eight occupants.
